A tabby cat refusing to have his picture taken by moving

He was being all cute and adorable, and then he was like, “Psyche! I’m outta here!” He’s now being all cute again and lying amidst a huge pile of blankets as I do a headcount to make sure someone hasn’t gotten lost in a closet. (No one has.)

The end of the distractions

607 fiction words, 1,066 total words

Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll find more distractions in the form of Minecraft YouTube videos, or movies, or something. There will always be something.

Despite distractions, despite not waking up to write early, I managed more fiction words than blog words, which is the baseline goal right now. 607 fiction words (1,066 total words) got added to the story, and I kind of didn’t hate them. It helps the story to write larger chunks, that much is clear. It helps the story move toward the ending as well. I’m sure readers will see (if I don’t rewrite it) where I was only adding a few words at a time.

There’s really not much more to say about yesterday. It was a Monday, and I made it through my office job. I wrote even though I was watching TV, and I went to bed at a reasonable time.

Happy Tuesday!
