There’s a story there somewhere, about things that live in shadows, or shadows that live and die by the sun, or maybe about shadows that never really go away. Something science fiction or fantasy based, maybe a bit of horror. Let me know if you make something of it.
I had the photo, but not the computer, and neglected to use my handy dandy phone to make the post. This is painted on the ground just by my garage. There is also a sign nearby, but that is high and often gets lost in the landscaping surrounding it. Cars frequently do not stop, and it’s frustrating as many families on our street have children. I would really love drivers to follow the instructions.
Well, that’s a long title. Both youths in my household were victims of the downpour this afternoon. By the time I was relieved from duty, it was merely misting. It seems unfair, as I don’t mind getting wet that much. Not that it’s harmful to anyone. Everyone survived, thankfully. And another rainy day is over.
I had thought to get a good picture at the office, but my day ran away with me. Instead I snapped this while trying to avoid getting run over by a car in the alleyway behind my house. It may not be in focus – I didn’t look too closely. (I just looked closely. It’s completely not in focus.)
